Our philosophy is pretty simple. We feel that when it comes to caring for seniors and elderly, each person should be cared for as if they were our own family. That is what we aim to do at Advocacy for Elders. Our clients are our families. Therefore if they are not being cared for the same way we would want our parents or grandparents cared for, then it is simply not good enough and we will do everything in our power to make it right.
Our Story and Founder
Advocacy for Elders was born when our founder, Haley Druian Villemarette, was approached by a family to break out on her own after watching her frustration of not being able to help as much as she knew she could. Haley grew up very close to her grandparents and "blames" them for her love and devotion to this population. After graduating with her Masters of Social Work from the University of Houston, Haley worked as an educator at the Alzheimer's Association, in clinical case management, hospice, home care and skilled nursing.
